My dad watching me play a couple weeks ago. The man taught me more than he will ever know without saying much of anything. He is the kind of father I wish everyone had. Count this as my Father’s day post because I don’t use the internet on my weekends.
That’s really lovely. My dad just now came to terms with the fact that I’m not giving up music. The first time he heard me play was just under 3 years removed from when he told me to give it up because I’d never make money. He wasn’t thrilled when I went back in. But that night he came to a show he sat in his seat shocked to his toes; he didn’t know I could really play. Then few days ago something amazing happened. He said to me: you’ve come too far to stop now
